It seems that I was over-enthusiastic in my joy of having Haiku on real
hardware when I asked that ticket:4357 be closed.
It is now evident that I never actually got a LiveCD to work on my Acer,
just the usb-stick. The r40384 iso LiveCD's does not get to the splash
screen, just a black screen with the following two line at the top:

Just to check, I also built some random older rev LiveCD's to test.
r37000, r38611, and r39138 also have the same boot issue. Will test
anyboot LiveCD 's soon.
I opened this new ticket as there are new symptoms. However, it is still
the same Acer which will not boot with LiveCD's. If this was not proper,
please let me know, and I will re-open the old ticket for the issue.
