Comment (by diver):
Try disabling paging (by pressing "p") on the first page of the on screen
debug output and see if it hangs at the same line. Also try to disable
your wireless nic in bios if possible, alternatively you can delete
iprowifi* drivers to rule out wifi driver problems. Also please attach
lspci output from linux, and syslog.
