IMHO it definitely makes sense to branch encryption related logic into
their own modules or at least separate methods. The amount of conditions
are getting complex and will be more so once hex and multiple keys are
supported. Pluggable / supplicant is even better.
Great to see WPA coming along, all the best on that one.
