#7877: Bootup Crash due to hda audio driver ---------------------------------+----------------------- Reporter: gerald.zajac | Owner: korli Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Drivers/Audio/HDA | Version: R1/alpha3 Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: x86 ---------------------------------+----------------------- Comment (by taos): I've seen the same problem with an Acer TravelMate 8101WLMi. With fail- safe video mode enabled, the computer boots into Haiku but enters KDL a few seconds after the desktop is loaded (see TM8101_KDL.jpg). If safe mode is choosen in addition to fail-safe video mode, the computer boots into Haiku but freezes later. However, the system runs fine if the HDA driver is renamed.
