Also happens on real hardware - but you usually have to add much more
graphs (> 14 on a 2003 laptop, probably even more on more modern hardware)
to experience this problem. Sometimes, ActivityMonitor can be killed via
ProcessController (debug output added - not sure if it is helpful).
