 leavengood: yeah, we can do that... however it's a hack.  $(HOST_LIBROOT)
 is already linked.. but in the wrong order...

 then again.. having --no-as-needed --as-needed --no-as-needed --as-needed
 --no-as-needed in the final compile statement is kinda a hack as well :)

 I'll add it.
