Comment (by Don Quixote):

 anevilyak, I have only built while running under Haiku, so I have never
 done "configure --build-cross-tools", only "configure" then "jam -q
 @alpha-raw".

 Is there a configure option, or is there an entry I could put into my
 UserBuildConfig so that the build tools aren't built at all when running
 under Haiku?

 Does the alpha-raw target include all the necessary build tools or do I
 really need to do that first build of the tools myself?
