#8094: Long unknown source file makes Debugger window very wide -----------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: bonefish | Owner: bonefish Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Debugger | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | -----------------------------------+------------------------------ r43130, gcc 2 When debugging a program and encountering a stack frame for which the source file path is available via debug info but which doesn't point to a file on disk (e.g. when cross-compiled) the string is shown above the source view. If the string is very long, the window is resized to accommodate it and the window can become very wide. I think the path shouldn't affect the window size. It could be truncated (in the middle or at the start) and a tool tip could show the full path (possibly wrapped). -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8094> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
