the attached patch, is used to add functionality to the card, audio
input/output. It is authored by Jerome Leveque. It should be added to the
ice 1712 sources. audio output was prime stable for 24 hours continous,
before adding a midi device on to the midi port. It stands by just fine,
but anytime you send midi messages, it cuases the above noted KDL
situation.
