#8459: Nforce AHCI -----------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: hunnia1 | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: reopened Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: System/Kernel | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: AHCI NVIDIA Blocked By: | Blocking: 6470 Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -----------------------------+---------------------------- Comment (by HAL): I have the same bug. If AHCI instead of IDE mode for SATA drive is enabled Haiku stops booting at the middle icon. It does not boot either in IDE mode if the C1E is enabled in the BIOS or local apic enabled, in the Haiku safe mode options. All I need is disabling CIE then I can have SMP multiprocessor function. My chipset is 870A north bridge and SB850 south bridge. Motherboard MSI 870AG54. CPU is AMD Phenon II X4 3Ghz AM3. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8459#comment:9> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
