#8824: [Tracker] Windows are not raised to front when clicking on files directly ------------------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: x-ist | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Tracker | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All ------------------------------------+---------------------------- Comment (by humdinger): I'd prefer to keep the behaviour as is. If you want to bring a window to the front, just click anywhere besides a file icon/name. There's usually enough whitespace around. Or click the border/tab or hold CTRL+ALT and click anywhere.[[BR]] You can mark more than one file while holding ALT or SHIFT, so raising the window on mouse up wouldn't be nice. Having windows pop to the front when just drag&dropping a file is one of the major grievances I suffer in other OSs... -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/8824#comment:5> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
