Please provide a listdev output, and a syslog to help with this.
I think I've owned a Latitude D610 and it's only got a VGA connector, and
uses an older radeon mobility chip?
The listdev will probably confirm that.
It's possible that the EDID information from the monitor is incorrect, or
not being read by the Radeon chipset.
