#9160: Change text alignment for OS list in boot menu -------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: rootbaron | Owner: nobody Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: low | Milestone: R1 Component: - General | Version: R1/alpha4 Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | -------------------------+------------------------- Hark! Listen to these words, for they speak the ravings of a madman, cursed by his attention to miniscule details. For years I have watched my system boot, from BeOS, and now to Haiku. All was well when I began, for I had only one choice. But now work requires Linux, and while my choice of distro has changed like the seasons, my true desire has not - and so Haiku carries on as my love and boot loader. But now I realize that which I have never seen before - the text, the text! Look at the text! No, not above, nor below - there! In the center! You see it now, don't you? It's the listing of systems, the system for listing of systems, the alignment drives one across walls and stars. For it is not aligned to the center, but to the left - no, to the right! What drives its desires, if not some devilish play? All I wish is the text to be aligned like the rest - and stay that way. I beseech you coders and marvelous men - do right upon this travesty, and align that text like the rest. Do not allow demons to cloud your head, for this horrible design choice makes me wish I was dead. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/9160> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
