This has already been implemented ages ago; it is just not exposed in the
settings window. To enable the feature, you have to manually change the
`/boot/home/config/settings/Tracker/TrackerSettings`, and
set `HideDotFiles` to `true`. I currently don't remember whether or not
Tracker is allowed to run when you do changes to this file.
I'm not sure if this feature really needs a setting in the UI.
