#9630: Tracker does not Identify before "Open with..." submenu is shown ----------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: Kev | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Tracker | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | ----------------------------------+------------------------------ On an unidentified or falsely identified file, this seems like it should be implied. E.g. I have a bash script (no extension) marked as executable. I tar it and later untar it to a new volume. Instead of the StyledEdit icon it had, it now has the Application icon. It still launches, but I can't right-click and "Open with..." StyledEdit to edit it without first Identifying it, because it doesn't appear on the submenu. Should it, or is this by design? hrev45444 gcc4hybrid -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/9630> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
