#9764: Temporarily disappearing file ----------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: humdinger | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Tracker | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | ----------------------------------+------------------------------ This is hrev45646 A delete action is filling up my syslog, 512KiB in under a minute (see #9763). I have /boot/common/var/log open in Tracker and see two files: "syslog" and "syslog.old".[[BR]] I open "syslog" in StyledEdit while it's being filled. When its size exceeds 512k, it's being renamed to "syslog.old". StyledEdit asks if "syslog" should be reloaded. If I press "Ignore", the new "syslog" won't appear in the Tracker window.[[BR]] Only re-opening the log folder will show "syslog" and "syslog.old". -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/9764> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
