It's still an alpha release. It's purpose is foremost to find bugs like
these. Maybe. It could be the app's fault... I'll assign this ticket to
mmu_man, who has been active with NetSurf in the past.
Anyway, attached to this ticket is now the bug report of that crash under
hrev45646. The Terminal shows:

I had to manually add a link to libpng.so.1.4 and libjpeg.so.8.0 before...
