Comment:

 setting beta1.  I (as well as quite a few others i'm guessing) would like
 to see these vm / memory management issues solved before the next alpha /
 beta release. As package management is coming, these kinds of things will
 stand out more and more. (not that I would know how to fix them though
 ^_^)
