shortcut only temporarily when it has focus, but some part of that doesn't
work quite right."
This is the correct way to handle the problem IMHO which is how it got
implemented in Web+ which had the same problem. Yes, Cmd+Left & Cmd+Right
may be used by applications, but, when the BTextView has focus these
shortcuts are temporarily used by BTextView. Switching back to Ctrl is a
hack.
