We get this all the time around broadcast time. The facebook page gets hammered
by commercial bodies attempting to get free advertising. I normally get rid of
them unless they are directly supporting us otherwise the facebook page just
becomes a massive billboard. This is a tactic that the beer festival uses
although they are a bit more artful if you remember because they announce their
bands one by one throughout May in an effort to get us to freely advertise
their event multiple times. We almost fell for it last time, so we should be
aware!

Cheers Simon,
Could be just a simple "what's on" mention, nothing more. Doesn't fit into the
gig thing, I may drop the white Rock a mail asking if they would like to
advertise this year......

Good afternoon
I've got a great show coming to Hastings in April; had a great 2017 run at
the Edinburgh Fringe [and returns there again this year].
It's The Carole King & James Taylor Story playing on Friday 4 May, White Rock
Theatre, Hastings
See attached.
Interviews and images available of course.
Please drop me a line for more info or to set something up.
Best
