Having had a read of the wonderful rules and guidance thingy that Tony
Lovingly created, it states to inform Steve of anyone who is
accompanying us into the studio (guests, assistance etc.) How do we
inform Steve? Is he going to get a bit fed up with keep receiving
requests?
I am not sure what this means in practice.

Morning all,
Thought I would send out a brief (ish) update on where we are what I
think is left to do and a reminder about Mondays DJ Evening at the
Studio House
So:
*Studio Build*
Nick, Jon and myself have pretty much finished the studio build now,
there are a couple of niggles, Webcam is up, but I cant access it to
control its field of vision (Jon... separate e-mail on its way...
:-)), There are a few changes to the Desk layout, in response to
queries and improvements, and after shuffling round the layout of our
available channels on the desk, we now have a dedicated (albeit on the
2nd channel) the e-mail PC which can be used to play Spotify content,
this has been assigned to the 2nd channel of one of the CD Decks.
there is Also a 2nd stand alone PC which can be used for Spotify
content as well, but also general Internat queries etc, but I wouldnt
use it for Facebook, its now too slow (its our OLD e-mail PC).
All will be clear when you see the studio and a quick tour of the desk
and facilities.....
We have a new e-mail PC now, it runs Windows 10, is MUCH quicker than
the old one, so is an all round improvement.....
*Advertising:*
Still short on advertisers,l but this is sort of Normal for this side
of the broadcast, please remember to tap up your advertisers, and ask
new ones very soon if they wish to get an ad on from week 1.....
Leaflets and Poster distribution:
Nick is arranging to visit the town this weekend with the assistance
of Phil the Bus to put up poasters in shops etc... might even yield
some extra advertisers, so please remember to ask them Nick :-) If
anyone can join Nick and Phil in this endeavour, please let Nick know.
*DJ Meeting:*
The meeting, according to Steve, has been arranged for this coming
Monday evening at Steve's House (Confusing? I will refer to it now as
the Studio House :-) ), and all DJ's have been advised of its location
and parking rules (assume thats correct Steve?) Start Time: 19:00, I
will distribute the Rules doc but WONT bore eveyone to tears with its
content, everyone should know it by now... just a few new house rules
for access etc to our new home, and also a bit on Compliance in order
to comply with the compliance people....
I think thats it...
Anyone have anything else they wish to add? Fire away....
