Here is a link to the report I mentioned. The radio part starts on page
78 and contains a lot of detail including info re small scale DAB which
we were talking about. I found it facinating, particularly the info in
Fig. 4.9.

If you are interested, this is the programme I listened to following
Katey's show on Willingdon. Clearly outside my age range as a target
audiance it is not rock and not my music so it is not a programme I
would normaly listen to. That said I thought it was very well put
together with plenty of research. I also think she has a good voice. I
have no idea if she has had any broadcast training but I would be amazed
if she has not.

Given the info in the Ofcom report above, I wonder whether simply
playing music will now satisfy a young audience. They can get their own
playlists elsewhere so there needs to be something more than just that
... perhaps?
