I have looked at this and I think it is a matter of waiting. In fact
Streema is now up, it came up sometime this afternoon. Internet Radio UK
is the only other one I have checked and is not working as yet.
The information pointing to the correct stream to use is provided in two
.pls files, one for our 32k aac stream and one for the 128 mp3. These
files are the ones I provided them with a link at the beginning of the
broadcast. The files are stored on our website so that is the link they
have.
What I think is happening is that instead of going to our website and
getting up the mosr recent and up to date files from there, they have
cached the one I had assigned to them and are using their cached
version. Remember caching with the old website, how you had to clear
your cache to get the latest pages.
The files on the website were updated, I assume by Jon, at 00.30 this
morning and both only point to the loop, so if they are doing what they
should be doing, i.e. using the files I gave them, they cannot play
anything other than the loop. I would imagine the old premodified
versions pointed to the live streams.
The only one I have seen that still is not right is Internet Radio UK. I
doubt they are a major player compared to some of the others (I have
never heard of them until this broadcast) but there is nothing we can do
in any case except wait and see if they bother to check for the updates.
The majors; TuneIn, VTuner and Reciva picked up the loop almost
imedidatly we shut down as I checked them at that point. Streema have
now followed.
