Something probably needs to happen on this front but I don't think it's
just a case of Phil sending him his playlist, he won't know what's been
played or where we're at on the list....
Sorry I've not been keeping pace with this one, first question then where
did he get the music/playlist from for last night then?
Is he now doing this for the remainder of the broadcast? If so, I probably
just need to lift out the back end of the playlists that were sent to Phil
& Ray and send that along to cover those hours. Who am I sending it to
(I'm guessing he's doing it from one of the existing DJ setups)?

with Phil & then find out he can't do that slot.
It's a pity he can't do any Daytime slots, as it would be good to add
another voice there too. I think he's 'wasted' on those graveyard
shifts.

On this point, whilst I don't think it's feasible to add more DJs
running their own studio setup, it's certainly possible to
accommodate
the remoting in here option as that doesn't involve slicing up
playlists, testing links etc. - the music and Playout system is
all
hosted here. Obviously it's not possible to remote in and train on
the
actual Playout machine since that is now in use but my development
machine is all configured to run the same set up hence it's not a
problem for me to set that up for people to have a play with. I
just
need a bit of notice as to when they want to do it and I can get
it
ready. It's a five minute job so not an issue.
