We just purchased a Toyota RAV4 Prime and it appears to be living up to it’s
hype. Similar to the Volt we have 42 miles of EV range before hybrid mode
kicks in. As you may know we used our Volt for towing our camper and at 20mpg
it seemed to be the best option out there for anyone towing a camper.
Well the RAV4 Prime bested 30mpg pulling the camper down the interstate. That
puts the car in best in class territory.

Hello to all of the fantastic Electric Auto Association EV clubs!
I hope this email finds you all well. Some of you might remember me from back
in June when Generation180 hosted an online event featuring Audi's Formula E
team. For those who don't remember me, my name is Blair St. Ledger-Olson, and I
help run Generation180's EV advocacy campaign called Electrify Your Ride. But
today I'm reaching out to you all regarding a different event: EV Speed Dating!
In celebration of National Drive Electric Week, Generation180 is hosting an
entire week of online events
<https://generation180.org/electrify-your-ride-week/> for EV owners, EV
advocates, and the EV curious alike. One of our events is called EV Speed
Dating, where we'll pair EV owners with everyday people who have questions
about their specific model of car. Just like in speed dating (or at least my
understanding of speed dating based solely on romantic comedies) attendees will
have around 5 minutes to ask their questions about a specific car before being
switched to the next EV model of their choice, and attendees can select up to
three models of EVs to be paired with. The event is scheduled for Sunday,
September 27th at 7:00pm ET.
So far we have about 30 EV owners who represent the following models:
Tesla Model 3
Tesla Model X
Tesla Model S
Chevy Bolt
Audi E-Tron
Nissan Leaf
BMW i3
Chevy Spark
Kia Niro
Chevy Volt
Hyundai Ioniq Electric
There are still plenty of spots available for the EVs above, but we're also
hoping for folks who can speak to the cars below:
Tesla Model Y
Hyundai Kona
Jaguar i-Pace
Chrysler Pacifica
PHEV SUVs (this could include the RAV4 Prime, Kia Niro PHEV, etc)
So we need your help! If you own any of these models or know someone who does,
please encourage them to register using the survey link below. And thank you
all for your work advocating for EVs!
https://generation180.typeform.com/to/VvQHip2G
PS: If there are any EVs you think should be added to the list, please let me
know!
Best,
Blair
