Dear Gary,
As a fellow EV driver and EAA chapter leader, I am really happy to tell you
about what we are up to here in Kentucky (yes Kentucky). We just launched
an Indiegogo campaign to help fund the film "EVOLVE: Driving a Clean Future
in Coal Country.” The film is designed to highlight the unique
opportunities and challenges here in our area of the country, in order to
help inspire the movement nationally by showing that "if it can happen
here, it can happen anywhere."
Our goal with this campaign is not only to make a film and show it here in
Kentucky, but also to spread the love to everyone out there in the EV
community. One thing I eventually learned as an EV owner — education is
job number one! Please take a look at the Indiegogo campaign, click on the
trailer and shoot me an email back to let me know what you think. Here is

We want to offer a *free screening of the film to every EAA chapter* to
show at your DEW events this year (it is premiering on Friday Sept. 15th
here, so on that day or any time after that). But in order to do that, we
need to finish funding the film itself first, and we're hoping you can help
us with that effort in two ways:
1) Please visit the Indiegogo page and, if you can, consider supporting
our campaign at whatever level works, and encourage your membership to do
the same. There are some great "perks," and any contribution, big or
small (even $10), helps us move towards our goal.
2) Broadcast our initiative out to your membership and, with their
help, far beyond, through email and your social media channels (and of
course include the link above)! This also helps move us towards our goal.
We hope we can count on your help. This is an exciting project and it will
be much much better with your participation!
