Fellow EV enthusiasts:
The weather forecast looks pretty bad for tomorrow morning. I'll make to
the meeting if the roads are not too slick, but it's not looking very
promising. I talked to Robert Finn this week and he was picking up his
Model S from the body shop. Finally!
The Knoxville News Sentinel auto show begins on Feb. 23. My hope was that
we could obtain a Tesla Model 3, and hopefully one other car, John
McGinnis' revamped roadster, maybe? That would make a dynamite show. So
far, however, the three early reservation folks that I know have not placed
orders for Model 3s. Robert is waiting for the AWD version, Billy Williams
says he's not ready yet, and my friend Susan Goodwin is pulling her hair
out waiting for Tesla to let her order. If anyone knows a way to obtain a
Model 3 for display in the auto show, please come forward!
If the weather won't let us meet tomorrow, we can at least communicate via
this site. Hopefully I will see you'all tomorrow.
