Yeah, vo plus i, or vo plus u and left and right arrow to links if not on it.
Then type the name of the link to filter it out.
Remember, vo plus I also known as the item chooser, can be used anywhere
inside or outside safari. It won't work correctly in all applications, but
when it does work I love it.

Is there a keyboard command that lets you find a
particular link by typing at least part of it's name while in
Safari? I am familiar with VO+i when not in safari, but that
almost never works right while actually on a web site. If it does
anything at all, it blasts you right out of the safari window and
lands on anything unrelated that partly matches. It's no disaster
but it sure is annoying because you have to find your place and I
am apt to try to short-cut when there are scores of links and I
know the desired one is buried there somewhere. It would be so
nice to just go there and stop taking the long road.
