I have a friend who's kid is struggling in school quite badly with Arithmetic. Basically just basic addition and subtraction. More aeddition,
but anyway... I'd like to help her where I can. She gets impatient very easily by me giving her problems to solve on paper, and keeps screaming at me to get her a computer game that she can play on my mac instead. After the last tantrom she through the other day, I told her mom, I'd had all I could take, and that I was gonna research this more thoroughly. So with that said, are there any programs either by MECC, or whoever, that would work on the mac with Voiceover, even if not perfectly, that would work at least enough for me to track her progress so that we could have fun learning together? This way nights of homework are not so head ache based? LOL! By the time it's over, my ears are ringing from listenning to her screaming at me. It's not her falt like a disciplinary problem. She truely is trying. She just gets angry and frustrated real easily. Frankly, it's somewhat sad to watch her beat herself up like this. Anyway, enough sogga. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
