I don't know what is being used today. I was using the Switch audio
converter for a while. I don't know if it's still available, but it could
convert just about any audio format. I don't know if Audacity can do
conversions like that, but there was an accessible version of that. Otherwise,
someone with a more audio aware background can comment here.
