Thanks for responding John, I was able to get it to pair! After reading several 
help files on the subject and getting absolutely nowhere, I walked away from 
the computer leaving the  Bluetooth  Preference window open, I had the  device  
in my ear, and decided to take it out and lay it on the keyboard, and only a 
few short minutes, the NBA had finally recognize the headset! So, the fix for 
this one, is getting  The device as close to the  computer as possible when 
initially pairing. Regards,
