It depends on what version of the OS you are using. If you are using Big Sur,
you will have to use the action menu with VO-command-spacebar to open the menu,
VO down arrow to, close, and VO-space.
If you are using something earlier than Big Sur, interact with the
notification, and VO right or left arrow to the, close, button, and VO-space on
it.

How can I close this calendar pop up on my screen when I open lid today. It
tells or let us know about today is valentine’s day. I tried too lose it but
no luck. I had to quit an app then reopen an app then calendar was
disappeared. Is that only way to close it?
