There’s no value in hiding your SSID at all. It used to obscure your network a
little making you less visible but in 2020 it’s so easy to view the non
broadcasted SSIDs it’s not worth worrying about. Disable wireless protection so
you don’t have a weak code securing your network, enable at least WPA2
preferably WPA3 if it’s supported and call it a day. Eero also allows you to
provision a guest network that’s separate from your main network so guests can
use that instead of being on the main network.

Eero is completely accessible under both Android and IOS.
This is the system I use and I’m very very happy with it. Do go with the
pro models if you go for it and the latest generation. Extremely fast
performance, very easy to set up and configure using the IOS or Android app,
good security features available by subscription if you want (not required),
and if you go with the pro version you get Tri Band radios that also support
WPA3.
Do note you’ll probably want to replace your provider router or what
ever router you use now with Eero to get the most functionality. You can use
them as access points only and attach to an existing router but then you
don’t get all the groovyQOS and other features. Also integrates well with
Alexa for voice operation of the network. Hope that helps, if it were me
I’d run and not walk and go buy an Eero system.:)
