Hi Mary,
I haven't messed with the voices, but can you select or deselect the voices
in the language screen of VoiceOver? I will take a look at see here as soon as
I can and mess with the new SIRI voice.

I know the good folks at Apple vis noted a problem with the new Siri voices,
and I was messing around in my language settings trying to get the female
voice included in my rotor in place of the Eva voice, while leaving the Alex
voice as my default. So I have default US English which is Alex, and before I
screw things up, I had Ava as my US English voice not default but still in
the rotor as US English. I hope that makes sense. I ended up accidentally
getting rid of Alex out of the rotor completely. I eventually got it back, I
can't remember how because I was doing so much stuff trying to figure out
what was happening. I got the female Siri voice in there at some point. I had
to delete the Eva voice, which is fine, since I really I'm not that thrilled
with it. Anyway, to make this long ramble short, somehow Ava re-downloaded it
self, and now I have that again as my non-default US English voice. I would
like to: one get rid of Ava and make that stick, and two, put the voice of my
choice into that setting. I want to leave Alex alone as default. How can I do
this?
Mary
