There is a screen reader button on amazon you can use and also the
smile.amazoncom seems to work a it better for me than the main site and you get
the benefit of having some of your money diverted to your favorite charity.

Amazon though is a bare. No matter what you do focus is lost. They say they
are working on accessibility but I'll believe it when I see it.

different elements, also use up and down arrow, and when you get to the one you
want, do vo space. this brings you to the actual element on the page, then you
can navigate as usual with vo right arrow, vo space, etc-whatever you want to
do with that particular element.

this is only h elpful, though, if you know what you want, because it brings up
a list of what’s on the entire page, so can be quite long!

for a bit over a week. Overall I really like this machine. The battery life is
absolutely wonderful. The start up time is blazingly fast compared to my
Windows machine. It is also nice having the default apps on the machine work
right out of the box. It was also very easy to get Voiceover up and running on
my own. I am slowly making this my daily driver for my basic tasks like e-mail
and internet browsing. I am finding Safari to be a bit difficult to work with
at times though. I seem to get stuck on elements in web pages quite often
especially on pages that are a bit more complex like Amazon for instance. I do
like how I can enable the track commander when in Safari and navigate the web
like I am using my iPhone. Now that I have the mail app setup I am starting to
like it. I do find it a bit more difficult to install apps but I am sure it
will get easier with time.
