don't they also have the talking dashboard scripts that someone created as
well? I don't have those anymore but yeah those were also very cool, and way
better then what apple has.

You would need an Apple script and then configure a keyboard shortcut to
activate it. I have one on my website, and I use right option-b with
keyboard commander to use it on my laptop.
