You know John, I must have downloaded voices at some time because I am not
hearing the one I have on my MBP on the Air.
so much to figure out, it’s mind boggling to me. I have a lot of the notes I
took when I worked with you and going to look back on some of those to see
if I can find some things there that will be helpful.
When the apple person reset my voice over settings, I lost my shortcuts too
and some of my bookmarks in Safari did not make it to the Air either.
So, limping along with two computers that are halfway working. smiley

When I get there it reads automatically select based on language.
I don’t know what to do when I get to that point.
I thought I selected a voice in voice over utility but saw nothing in
there to do that.
Thanks John

It depends what you have on your system, but if you press
shift-VO-command-right or left arrow until you hear, Default voice, you
can then use the same combination with the up or down arrow instead of
left or right to change your default voice.
You can also download additional voices from the VO Utility if the
ones you have are not suitable for you.

Hello folks
Sort of have my computer set up except for a few things that need
changing.
Can someone tell me how to change the voice so I can put Alex to sleep
and get a new voice?
Thanks
Barbara
