Good article, one of the things I really like is this turns the screws on Intel
and AMD to step up their games. It might be time for the X86 instruction set
to die. I realize that’s a lot easier said than done but this new Apple
silicon really really steps up the game. I almost fell out of my chair when I
heard it had over 16 billion components on the surface. They are building
transistors now only a few atoms across. Amazing. And the opening shot is
with a 32 core model, just wait a year or two.
