I would press control-option-f and just put two spaces in the search field.
Or, you can do, command-f and do a search and replace by searching for the
double spaces and replacing them with a single space.
I'm not sure if you can easily search for the double caps unless you use the
grammar feature in the universal spellchecker. I haven't experimented with that
though. I do accidentally put double spaces in sometimes, so I use the search
and replace method here.

Is there a way to tell if you have a double space in your document?
Also I have a habit of sometimes capitalizing the first two letters in a
sentence but spellcheck isn’t catching that.
Thanks

Command-shift-semi-colon will open the spellchecker or command-semi-colon
will highlight the next misspelled word in a document.

Okay I closed the document and pages and opened everything and it works
properly again.
Another question I have is how to use the spellcheck and grammar check with
voice over?

Hi there.
I am in a document using Pages and for some reason when I am typing it
reads character by character instead of words.
I tried using the verbosity to change this and it shows words, but it is
still typing letter by letter.
As I write this email, the words are being spoken as I hit the spacebar.
I hope someone can help.
Lovette
