OK, let's play America's dummest Mac Users. I'm curious. Some may hate this, but I figured it would be kind a funny now looking back on things. So, share with me your stories. What's probably the absolute most stupid thing you ever did with the Mac in your time being a mac user?
I'll go first.I had a friend who about a month ago was visiting from out of town with me. He's totally blind. I had opened a spendle of blank CD's, and removed the top little plastic dummy disk, that mind you, really isn't a disk. It's jsut a stupid little fake CD. Why the heck they put those things on spendles, I don't know. It's really pathetic in my view. Anyhow, I sat the disc down on top of my friend's perfectly ment condition macbook, not paying attention what I was doing. Next thing I know... Hey Chris? Yeah Ben? What's this CD on toppa my macbook? Oh it's a... suck? O! no no no no no no no! Oh, sh'sh'sh'shit! suck, suck, suck? Kr'r'runch? I'm like awe! son of a... ***... Ben! that wasn't a CD! That was a fake! Quick quick quick! Hit eject! Go Go Go! Before it's too late! F Y I, suffice is to say, it, urm, like, uh, kind a like, was! too late! That disc was jammed and wasn't gowen nowhere!
Thank God he had Apple care coverage. We went to my Apple store and a genious replaced his supwer drive free of charge. You should a seen the look on her face, my grandmother said. It was like... Are you flippen! Nuts?
I never thought he was gonna put that thing in! God I wanted to die! I was just like, I am, so! Sorry!
