[mac4theblind] Text forwarding

i’m attempting to enable text forwarding from my iPhone 5s to my mac/ipad. i
was able to do it from the iPad but when i press on the mac, i get no code.
where does the code appear on the mac? i’ve checked the notification center and
had messages open in the foreground but still no code. any help will be
appreciated. thanks! i’ve got a macbook pro mid 2012************
