Currently I'm experimenting with ProTools First and I actually brought
the ProTools with speech tutorials, because I want to get up to speed
with the editing and mixing quickly.
I'm however a little price aware and don't like that ProTools first
stores projects in the cloud, so I'll probably go back to Garage band
in the near future.
I'm still struggling to work with Regions a bit. I'E I can remove
them, but end up with a huge block of silence.
I've found a couple of posts online, so I'm hoping that between them
and a lot of messing around I will get there eventually.
Playing with the boarder handles at the weekend resulted in me
unintentionally deleting something and I ended up with a bit of a mess
:O
I'm glad I version stuff!
If I make any head way with it I may well create some sort of
text/audio guide and post it here and/or to AppleVis.

Most of the problem was that I didn't have the latest GB installed, so
it looked very different. I updated it and am making some more
progress now *I think*.
I'm also going to have a play with Audacity.

first 23 bars beeing gone. They are in the tracks area before track
backgrounds. I forgot the key stroke for delete and move. The problem is
though if you do this and you save your stuff is back when you export.

ben a long standing bug. I edit my files in the bundle keeping everythign

tact and muting what I don't want.
