[mac4theblind] Using other languages

I just bought my mom an iPad 2. I hope I can resist stealing it <smile>
Seriously though, do any of you use VoiceOver in another language than english?
My mom's first language is Japanese and I think I can change the screen to
display in Japanese. Do I have to change VO to speak in Japanese also? I'll
be the one helping Mom get acquainted with her new iPad and troubleshooting,
setting things up, etc. Any thoughts on this?
She was going to get a Kindle but I told her I wouldn't be able to help her
with it.
