Hi Jim,
    I am working form memory, so I may not have the steps down here, but if you 
download the book in Daisy, there should be an XML file with it.  I believe you 
can open that file in Safari and then just do a select all with Command A and a 
copy with Command-c to then paste the book into a blank text edit document with 
command-v.  I don't have a Bookshare handy to test this, but I believe this is 
the process.
