Hmm. You could try it, if it is still there. I thought they pulled yosemite
when el cap was released. Check for disk errors using the os as the time
machine should not be locked. If it is check from the recovery thing. If you
are stuck with el cap I guess just use it. It's a very good os. Really, no
problems, except if you are running on an older maybe 2011 mac.
