I am blind, but from working with low vision clients, I would go into
System Preferences under Accessibility and take a close check on the various
options for Zoom. Perhaps someone with low vision can add to this, but I know
that folks who have adjusted settings in there have been able to make the
screen better for them to see it with Zoom enabled.
