hi,
Here is how you record and send messages in audio on the mac:
1. open messages
2. click “compose”
3. enter the name of a person, a phone number, or an email address (note: the 
person you select, as well as yourself, must be using iMessage.)

4. VO right arrow until voiceover says, “record audio.” press VO space, or 
double-tap the trackpad to activate the button.
5. say your message naturally.
6. press Vo right arrow until you hear voiceover say, “send recording.” you can 
either press VO space, or double tap the trackpad to activate this button.
