Hello everyone, When Mavericks came along, I had to use iCloud to backup my Contacts. Before using Mountain Lion I was using iTunes to do this. Now though with the release of Mavericks 10.9.3 and the latest iTunes version it is said that Apple has restored this functionality. My problem though now is that since I’ve been using iCloud for the past few months and now I want to go back to using iTunes to backup my contacts I am wondering how this is done? I don’t want to go losing any contacts in the process. I will admit though, that I do rather like the way contacts get updated wirelessly between my Mac and iPhone which is a thing I’ll probably miss but for me, I feel that iTunes for now, back ups more data than iCloud does at the moment. I guess I feel more comfortable with my information being stored locally on my computer than up in the cloud. At least for contacts at any rate. Idealy, if at all possible, I’d like to know if I can use backing up contacts both with iTunes and iCloud together and if I can do this, how this is done. I have an iphone 5 running 7.1.1 and a late Mac Book Pro 2011 running Mavericks 10.9.3 and the latest version of iTunes. I look forward to hearing from anyone who uses both methods and how you do it without messing anything up in the process. Thanks Daniel************ You are subscribed to the mac4theblind mailing list.
