It's just an idea. There's never a guarantee that it will work, of course.

Actually I didn't think of that. I doubt that will work though. I've never
seen the password thing work ever since high sierra was installed onto my
system. I even did a clean install with nothing on there and it even broke
so yeah odd. Trust me I was troubleshooting with someone twitter who
knows more than me on all of this stuff, but I really love learning, except
when things brake lol!
Worth a try though.
Update. It failed. I got security agent has no windows and "unable to move
the voiceover curser to the mouse curser, or maybe it was the opposite lol!
But yeah that failed and my installer went busy. I tried this as well on my
anti virus program, safari, and other places where my admin and password are
needed. All of it fails except for system prefs which is what I included in
my bug report and sysdiagnose files.

It's a long shot, but have you tried killing the security agent in

I just had it with a pkg issue. Here is the bug number for those of us on

I also have my sis have file up there as well. The item choose does not
work, the window chooser does does not work, toggling vo does not work. I
even tried to find it with the mouse, that does not work. The only place
this actually works in the system prefs and the wifi dialogue but no
where else.
I talked to someone else on twitter who has the same issue. They also
reported it and are a part of the apple beta team which I cannot join as,
you guessed it. I can't install the profile due to this stupid issue.

The only time I have seen the security agent window give me a problem
is when I am signing into a new Wi-Fi network with my Mac Book Pro.
However, I can either go to the window chooser menu to find the password
screen or I can toggle VO off and then back on again and I am in the
proper window. I have not had this issue with any System Preferences
screen or other password screens.

Well, they can't fix it if it's something few people have
experienced. If they can't reproduce it, they can't figure it out. I'm
wondering if there is something common to systems that are having the
issue. I have three different Macs and not one has seen it happen.

Hi Leslie. Everything should be ironed out with High sierra

Hi Listers,
My bank recently updated its software, making it less
accessible. I reported the issues and was told that the update
was written for high Sierra. Is there something specific to high
sierra that might make fields which are currently invisible,
visible again to Voice Over? Or they just pulling my leg? Has
High Sierra improved enough to make a move to it desirable over
Sierra? And what are the major issues I will encounter with
Mail, Message, Safari, etc.? I have now run across 2 other
institutions with inaccessible sites, including Fidelity and TD
Ameritrade. Perhaps it is all my Sierra causing the issues? I do
use Google Chrome (while kicking and screaming) to deal with
these problematic websites to eliminate the potential lack of
support for Safari. I’d appreciate any advice.
Best,
