Hi Kim, you can download the mac drop box app from http://www.dropbox.com You should also be able to transfer files directly from your pc if the mac and the pc are connected to a router. How are you connecting your external hd to your mac? What kind of external hd do you have? If the files show up at all, they should be copyable. we may be able to help with this.
